FAQ

What housing is this?
An authentic milspec Noctis Technologies housing (formerly Carson Industries). We use it for every monocular build.

Why do the colors look different between photos?
Camera white balance. To the eye the housings look the same.

Are the tubes autogated?
Yes. All of our tubes are autogated.

Do the tubes have manual gain?
The Standard build uses an MX-10160 tube with autogain only. The Performance build uses an MX-11769 tube with autogain plus manual gain, and the housing's gain knob controls it.

What grade of NVT tube is it?
Tubes can come from the NVT-4, NVT-5 or NVT-6 lines and are sold on their individual test specifications.

How durable are the tubes?
Very. Autogating keeps the microchannel plate voltage low while the tube is running, which protects it in changing light.

Warranty
Three-year conditional warranty on the system covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, and lifetime service on the unit.
